Harper's first goal (her little brother heard first)
U9 Girls hold on against Westmoor
Seven goals and a lot of running. The U9 Girls beat Westmoor FC 4-3.
Lily scored two and Harper got her first ever goal, then ran straight to the sideline, mid-game, to tell her little brother. Westmoor nearly tied it at the end until Zoe blocked the shot.
Ava's late breakaway beats Harwich Valley
Priya put the U12 Girls ahead with a free kick from outside the box. Harwich Valley tied it, and Ava won it 2-1 on a breakaway in the last five minutes.
Nora was steady at the back all game.
Coach Beth said the second half was the hardest they have worked all year.

Did You Know?
Three of this fall’s coaches played for Pinebrook as kids. Coach Rich’s 2004 team photo is still on the wall of the snack bar, second from the left, no front teeth.
